Can Someone Help Me With Detailed And Basic Instructions To Install The Shutter Reloaded Plugin For Wordpress?

I just started designing my webpage and have an image that I would like to enlarge when clicked on, so I found Shutter Reloaded might be the plugin for this but it’s not working. Is it compatible with worpress 2.8? If it is, I followed the first set of instructions.

Hi , i went through official wordpress document which states that we can add plugins through plugin tab found in the adminstration panel . But i couldnt locate the plugin tab in the panel but i could find rest of all the tabs ie – Dashboard , Write , Manage, Comments , Blogroll , Presentation [...]

Ideally I want one which will:
Allow me to upload a video file to my hosted blog and automatically embed it. I am NOT interested in using youtube videos etc (wmv, mpg4 files to be hosted on MY domain).

I have been uploading new plugins to my wordpress blog, but when I log into the admin plugin page the new plugin does not appear. I went to a forum and some guy wrote “your are nesting folders”
wp-content/plugin-name/plugin-name2/
you want this:
wp-content/plugin-name/
Where do you go to make this change?
And what does he mean by nesting?
